California Field Technical Support & Sales

The Steel Network, Inc., a premier national manufacturer of light steel framing solutions, is seeking an honest, ambitious person to represent our company in the California market.

Success requires the following:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable giving presentations to professional groups ranging from 10-50 people
• Solid background in the construction industry
• Familiarity with cold-formed steel design and light steel framing
• Proven professional who is self-motivated and willing to be 100% accountable for their actions

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree (An engineering degree is a plus)
• Minimum of (4) years experience as a field or technical sales representative

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering technical sales presentations on TSN products to Design and Construction Professionals in Commercial Construction
• Making job site visits and investigating any field issues
• Providing technical support and communicating with CA engineers and architects regarding TSN products
• May require occasional sales calls to customers
• Supporting product certification by evaluating certification agencies and reading/interpreting test standards
• Representing TSN at industry trade shows or other association meetings
• Must be willing to travel overnight
