Raleigh Area Technical Support Advisor

The Steel Network, Inc., a national engineered building products manufacturer of light steel framing solutions, is seeking an honest, ambitious Technical Support Advisor to work in our corporate office in Durham, NC. The ideal candidate should posses excellent work ethics and experience contacting design professionals in the construction industry.

Duties Include:

• Territory management in several states calling on design professionals (Architects and Engineers).
• Work closely with Sales representatives to prospect and develop new business.
• Ability to convey the value of our products to customers.
• Occasional travel ~ 5%

Job Qualifications

• 3+ years Technical Sales experience
• Candidate must have familiarity with building codes along with construction means and method applications
• Ability to interact and explain products to structural engineers and architects
• Proficient regarding the technical aspects of the Construction Industry
• Extensive technical phone conversations and email correspondence is typical and required for this position
• Experience giving technical presentations
• Blueprint Reading Skills preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills
• A positive attitude
• Computer Experience
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
