Description
NCSEA is proud to deliver a brand new Web-Based Seminar for you on Cold-formed Steel Framing Design. This web-based Cold-formed Steel Seminar will be delivered over 3 consecutive days in three 1.5 to 2-hour webinars by one of the industry’s best and brightest minds, Roger LaBoube, PhD, P.E.
Cold-formed steel members are becoming more commonly used for structural members in curtain walls as well as axial load bearing wall framing. To better enable the use of cold-formed steel members, the American Iron and Steel Institute has developed design standards focused on the design of framing assemblies. The three-session webinar series will provide an overview of the framing standards as well as present a discussion of member design and behavior and also present topics that engineers may not encounter in a design standard.
Speaker
