The Carolina Ale House in Garner is not considered a “big project” in size, compared to the mid-rise hotels and apartment complexes we typically feature. Yet, for this local contractor a Carolina Ale House project was indeed a big job, and it won us over as a way to showcase the increased value that TSN’s products can add to any job.
As a small drywall contractor, who at the time was just getting their feet wet in the cold-formed steel industry, Advanced Framing & Interiors reached out to our sales and engineering team for design assistance on this job. We were able to offer our complimentary design assist services, which primarily simplified the openings and bridging elements for the project. Advanced Framing & Interiors won the bid, and by teaming up with us, we provided them with a solution to streamline the install while doing more with less.
JamStud® was used for the exterior wall openings, and eliminated the need for built-up box sections that are typically labor-intensive and assembled on site. Additionally, BuckleBridge®, TSN’s one piece bridging system, eliminated the need to install multiple rows of cold-rolled channel with clips, offering significant savings on man hours and material.
