Construction is underway on the Residence at Basking Ridge, a 90-apartment assisted living, memory care, temporary stay and respite care community in Basking Ridge, NJ. When completed, the community will feature three levels of cold-formed steel (CFS) framing and a CFS truss roof system.
Architectural Team, Inc. designed the building for LCB Senior Living, a leading senior housing operator and developer headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts. Callahan Construction Managers, a full-service construction management company based in Bridgewater, Mass., will manage the preconstruction and management services for the project.
The steel-framed facility will provide a wealth of amenities to enhance hospitality, resident experience and ease of living, says the Boston Real Estate Times. Amenities will include spacious common living rooms, a bistro, salon, fitness area and tastefully landscaped grounds. Additional amenities will include state-of-the-art lifestyle technologies throughout the building, modern emergency call and safety systems and 24/7 staff and security.
“This project is significant for Callahan’s New York office, as it marks our entrance into the New Jersey construction market,” said Patrick Callahan, President at Callahan Construction Managers. “We are proud to be a part of the team working to create a comfortable and service-driven community at The Residence at Basking Ridge and look forward to continued collaboration with all of our project team partners.”
