SigmaTrak®
SigmaTrak eliminates field issues typically seen with standard “T Section” tracks where the studs bear directly on the corner radius of the track, creating gaps between the stud and track, and the potential for building settling and damage over time.
It’s unique shape is designed to allow a stud to seat fully within the track, providing full bearing at the top and bottom structural tracks. Load bearing studs must be fully seated within the top and bottom tracks according to design standards.

SigmaTrak® Applications
Load bearing walls are designed to fully seat within the top and bottom tracks to ensure there is no movement or settling of the wall. Without attention paid to this during installation, Standard (T) Section runner tracks can be installed with a gap between the track and the stud, causing the wall to move and possible failure of stud/track connections.
Standard Track
Due to the shape of the inside corner radius in Standard (T) Section tracks, “full” bearing within the track is prevented unless the wall panel is compressed.
SigmaTrak
SigmaTrak’s unique shape allows full bearing of the stud within the track.
